The first love of my life is the written word. Through writing I process experiences, compile thoughts, mature ideas, heal traumas, champion values, and access creativity.

For me, to write is to be alive.

In this blog I write about all things muddled, convoluted, nuanced, and impure. Essentially, I write about life and its messiness. Frequently revisited topics include: religious deconstruction, relationships, psychology, mental health, sex, cultural commentary, and poetry.

I am an ardent advocate for human rights. I believe every human being deserves to live as their authentic selves with dignity and safety. I am staunchly anti-Authoritarianism, and regard power-with systems to be the way forward. True liberation and freedom will never be derived through coercion, shame, and control.
